If only Ukraine qualified instead of Italy, I'd say it's excellent. I'd be happy to see a Portuguese or a French victory :)

been a horrible world cup. up until the quarters it looked dreamy but with an upset in every one of them barring italy ofcourse, the lineup for the semis looks more round of 16ish than semi final material.
good for the fans of those countries who made it and for those who wanted to see new teams make it rather than the usual suspects but in terms of good matches its been the most disappointing semis in recent memory. Im sure tv viewership is also going to take a huge hit with england and brazil out.
Also the referee clampdown and the rigorous european season seems to have taken a toll on many of the players and its clearly showing with players relying on tactics like diving, set pieces and counter attacks rather than breaking down defenses with their flair and skill. |

| its been fun despite the emberassment serbia suffered. france is on their way and thats the next best thing, imo. |

It's been an excellent world cup so far. the organisation has been better that anything I've seen, stadiums are all brilliant and the football has been of an excellent standard.
The only disappointing thing so far is the standard of refereeing and ronaldinhio. |

| poor games, poor refs, very dull cup overall. very happy with how far Portugal has gone, but it's a bit disappointing how Argentina, Czech Rep, Holland, Spain are all out. |

I agree completely..
Czech Republic and especially Holland really let me down. Not to mention England :whip: And 3 out of 4 teams now in the semi's don't belong there.
I guess the only people that still like this cup are either German, Italian, French or Portuguese. |
