superman returns sucked

i couldn't wait for the telesync to come out on monday so i went out and saw it.
it seriously bored the out of me. the love story was bland. the humor was bland. all the action sequences seemed pointless cus "hey, superman is INVINCIBLE and do ANYTHING."
and it was almost 3 hours long. ya i can understand an epic like return of the king being 3 hours, but this ? .
spiderman 3 looked ing awesome on the big screen though. |

superman never really appealed to me the fact he's invincible so what's the point, wheres the danger? ???
plus he doesnt have any cool villians/arch enemies i could name, well maybe doomsday, but even then the storyline was only good because he died and actually showed some mortality.

| I liked it. But then again, I saw it in Imax. Yeah yeah, there are no surprises, but this movie was never meant to be an action movie. As far as Brandon Routhe not being the best Clark Kent, I can see where you're coming from, since he really doesn't do anything other than smile, or look awkward. |
