| steam is downloading pretty slow right now. im getting about 100kb/s down, when i could be getting up to 500 - 600 kb/s down. i just ordered hl2: episode 1 and it needs to download. it says 2 hours remaining. oh shoeshine. |

play it once normally, and then go through it again with the commentary. i <3 the commentaries |

only other thing running on my network is possibly a xbox, i dont think it is online though.

the commentary in lost coast was great, too bad i only have enough hard drive space for one source game installed at once. had to get rid of dod:s for episode one. im working on figuring out how to transfer the contents of my 'windows' drive over to a newer, larger drive i just got.
any suggestions for transferring evrything to the new harddrive? |

cant unless i can get this pci ide controller i found to work. ive right now got 3 harddrives installed along with a dvd-rw drive. my ide bus is full, with the pci controller, i would be able to stick another 4 ide devices in. im hoping the controller works without any drivers as i salvaged it from a computer a friend gave me. |
