i know there was a discussion about this, but what happened to it? did anyone figure out pvds setup?
dont tell me 2 macs one with ableton and the other with serato. i want to know how things are hooked up and what not... |

Basically he has the above, like we all know. He is also using midi to control everything. The Serato sends out the midi time code and syncs with Ableton. As well as he is creating loops from tracks that are being played through Serato, recorded with Ableton, live.. Then he can have different parts play however he wants. Pretty tricky setup, the crazy thing is, PvD isn't even using Ableton 5, he uses 4! All of this takes alot of work while you are playing, hence why he is so intuned into the computer.
