Seems we're havin' a bit of a stall goin' after Iran, thanx in large part to our damn generals and military folk in the Pentagon:

'em. Why they won't listen to our beloved leader's hand chosen few civilians like Rummy who KNOW how to conduct a war from start to finish is beyond me.
But some of those generals, SOME of them anyway at least have their juices flowin' when they read crap like this about another supposed "ally":

* In answer to other questions, a majority of the Britons questions described Americans as uncaring, divided by class, awash in violent crime, vulgar, preoccupied with money, ignorant of the outside world, racially divided, uncultured and in the most overwhelming result (90 percent of respondents) dominated by big business.

Very true.
In fairness, Britons themselves are often loathed in other countries for their boorish, crude, and uncivilized behavior. In Greece, Holland, or the Czech Republic, the locals roll their eyes at the antics of "British lads" who go there for "stag parties" or on vacation to get piss-drunk. British tourists are officially the worst, according to the countries that host them.
Also if you've watched the British version of "Big Brother" -- it's not exactly a "culture fest" either. |

When it's the bad stuff this tendancy to call the British the English suddenly drops. I don't like it. You yanks are inconsistant! Thats what you are!

| We've got this administration to thank for our bad rep abroad (Europe in particular). Latin America and the Middle East never really thought to highly of us in the first place; they've had plently of experience with our benevolence and generosity. |

I thought the Russians had them beat there? I believe the Russian tourists are rated as the worse and than the British. |
