Not only has it been almost 4 years since Darren Emerson has been to Chicago, this is one of only two U.S. dates he is touring in all of 2006 – Chicago and L.A. Since Darren can’t seem to pull himself away from the studio as he works on his new CD, very rare are his stateside appearances. This is indeed a stroke of luck, a most uncommon opportunity to see the master of the Underwarter world of house in the small and intimate confines of Spy Bar. You’ll be waiting another 4 years if you miss this one!

I was insanely excited for this, but unfortunately I got booked for a show about 9 hours away from Chicago on Saturday night and just won't be able to make the drive... :(

Don't worry, he was here in May 2004, so it will only be a 2 year wait til the next time :gsmile:
I remember that show @ Vision well because I showed up to hear Darren Emerson and was unaware he was spinning a pornstar theme party. I almost left thinking I showed up to the wrong event and then next thing I knew there were girls wearing nothing but pieces of tape dancing to Born Slippy. |
