Do these cans have the twisting/horizontal hinge just above the cup like the Sony DJ cans and the Pioneer? You know the hinge that makes it easy to rest them on your shoulder while you spin. Likewise what about the HD280? I really think I need such a thing and my pioneers just broke. Well somthing smashed them (and I had them for 2 years). Damn!!! Anyway thought I would try something new. .. cheers... m.. . alanzo I've used 7506s while DJing.. worked fine. But they're mostly for production. I hear the sony MDV-700DJs (or whatever) are quality (break easily)... I've had the 7506s for more than a year and they get A LOT of abuse. If they broke... I'de get another pair of 7506s ;) xmotleyx Thanks for the replies. I know all about the 7000dj. They were my first pair. I thought that I might change phones since I have a chance. However, if the mdr 7509/06 don't pivot, then I will get another pair of Pioneer because I already got the AKG K240DF for production. And, besides, they did well for me over the past 2 years. m.. .
