Space Shuttle Launch in 15 mins...watch!! (pg. 5)

Tried recording but it made the stream go at like 1 frame per 10 seconds. Please forgive me :(

I noticed the camera getting hazier, think that was ice on the lens?
Lol and p1-700 camera or something, good advertising.

yeah i think that's ice. they use liquid hydrogen and oxygen for fuel..so the main booster gets pretty cold

edit: I think they show replays of the event on the website. maybe you can copy the replay better.

i went there a while ago, i think there was a shuttle on the launch pad too. the saturn iv moon rocket hanging from the ceiling in one area was really cool, so was the full scale model orbiter you can go in.


orbital velocity is ranges from around 5000 meters per second, to 7500 meters per second. im not sure if these values apply to the space shuttle though, these are the values i normally get in Orbiter (space flight sim) with the delta glider.

it seems the space shuttle needs to go almost as fast as 25800 miles/hour to inject itself into the earth orbit!! :wtf:

Well they had the screen cam over the big projector showing over what part of the earth the shuttle was orbiting and it was running Windows.:tongue2
