Two years ago, the Orion Events Center witnessed 1200 people who all came to celebrate the most smurfiest dance festival in rave history! Last year, over 1000 people came to the Soul Folks Events Center to reunite in a land where only the blissful smurfs go. DJ Venom has been playing the rave circuit since the early 1990's. This veteran has gained notoriety with his superb track selection and his award winning scratching skills. He has produced over 71 underground mix tapes and CDs. His scratching skills have earned him 2nd place finishes at the 1994 NE Spin-off, 1st place in the 1997 Providence DJ Battle, and two 2nd place finishes at the Winter Music Conference DJ Competitions in 1998 and in 1999. He was also voted as 1999’s DJ of the Year by the Providence Phoenix People's Choice awards. His specialty is hard house, ghetto booty house, and his own style and label: “Retro-Tech", a modern version of old school Techno, Breakbeats and Jungle. Venom started Volume in 1994. Few put on a performance quite like Venom. He continues to break barriers, producing and playing tracks that add a new dimension to the music scene. Carlos Alfonzo (The Bounce/Vibrance Rec/Zapatistas) –SF-
Carlos Alfonzo has continuously grown to be a strong influence in the San Francisco Bay Area's electronic music scene. Over the past year, he has pushed that growth to expand all over the United States. His roots in House music & DJing all began in 1993. Inspired by Bay Area locals such as DJ Dan, Carlos, and Doc Martin, he started to produce his own music in the year of the millennium. Taking his love for house music even further after ideas sparked by local labels and by theWinter Music Conference 2005, Carlos Alfonzo founded "Vibrance Recordings," San Francisco's hotest house music label. It's first release, "Something Special," launched at the Winter Music Conference '06 and it has already been making noise all over North America. Being one of the most respected people from the underground to around the mainstream town, Carlos Alfonzo has set the stage for himself to become a leading force in the future of House Music.

The Addicts aka Jason Splat & DJ 007 (Phunked Up Rec/No Limit/Addicted) –LA-
Since The 1990's, DJs 007 and Jason Splat have been rocking the dance floors of the so-cal underground with their uniquely different styles of dance music: 007 hails from a UK Hard House/ NRG style, while Jason Splat comes from a Speed Garage/Funky House background. Both DJs have a love of the old school music and party vibe, and both have rocked countless massive events year after year in so-cal and beyond. Flash forward to present day, and both DJs hear the calling of a new musical style of Electrohouse; fusing the bass lines and high energy elements that both DJs love. The Addicts is not just a DJ group, but a way of life, as both DJs have a drug like devotion to this underground culture. Thee-O (Biohazard/Addicted) -LA-
Thee-O of Los Angeles has always had a love for music and has been heralded as the most popular and most hardworking DJ in Los Angeles. Since his first gig in March of 1992, he started to begin building a reputation as one of L.A.'s leading Trance DJs. With help from his numerous amount of mix CD’s and untiring efforts for the scene he loves, his name continues to grow in the city of L.A. and beyond. Over the past years he has spun next to Outkast, Orbital, Underworld, BT, The Orb, Paul Oakenfold, Moby, Aphex Twin, 808 State, Chemical Brothers, Mixmaster Morris, 2 Bad Mice, Carl Craig, Rabbit in the Moon, Juno Reactor, Dave Angel, Loop Guru, Westbam, X-Cabs, The Roots, Atomic Babies and many notable others. DJ WIRES (Fission Records/Addicted) –LA-
DJ Wires has been spinning for over 5 years, and has followed his passion from his hometown of Seattle Washington to Los Angeles California. Wanting to be closer to the major rave scene, CJ moved to Los Angeles about a year and a half ago, and has begun to take the rave scene by storm. He's had several of his mixes broadcasted on HHUK in London, and he even won The Mix of the Month in March of 2004. DJ Wires' smooth mixes and seamless transitions between Trance, Hard Trance, and UK Hard House will make you go from hugging a friend to screaming with your hands in the air. His sets are ones not to be missed, and are fast gaining reputation in LA.
Milktoast (Addicted Events)
Milktoast started his adventures in the rave scene in 1991. Working for legendary promoters such as Steve Cool-Aid, Davin The Madhatter and being under the guidance of Ron-D-Core in 1992, he decided to give his DJ aspiration a chance. In 1999, he joined Dr.Freeclouds and spent a lot of his time spinning at events in Arizona and in Texas. He has also released a few hit records with his long time friend and Addicted partner Jason Splat along the years. In 2004, Milktoast decided to take a break from the LA rave scene, and will be returning to play at the most smurfiest event of the year. Don’t miss this well respected, old school Trance DJ at Smurfy-3, and make sure to show your support by welcoming him back!

Kevin Energy (NU Energy Collective) –UK-
As a DJ, Kevin is busier than ever before. In the Hardcore scene his amazing technical skills and ability to offer something fresh has gained him a massive following of die hard fans that wait eagerly for his performances at all the big promotions. Few DJs in the UK rave scene have had the same impact on it as one Kevin Energy, owner of Nu Energy and Relentless Vinyl. Starting his career at just 15 years of age on legendary London pirate Dream FM, Kevin rapidly moved up the ranks to become one of the scene’s most promising DJs and a truly visionary producer. Twelve years on, his legendary Nu Energy label has clocked up 60 releases, the Nu Energy Collective PA he started is the biggest live act in rave land and his sets at Hardcore Heaven, Hixxy’s Hardcore Til I Die and Slammin Vinyl. Kevin has graced almost every rave promotion in the UK and leave no corner of the world ‘un-rocked’ with his overly hectic tour schedule. He has an outstanding knack for reading a crowd and knowing exactly what to throw down to capture that special something without rinsing the obvious anthems. By always being innovating, always being unexpected and always being 100% on form, Kevin has secured his place in the rave history books and will continue to offer his skills for as long as the ravers are givin’ the energy back.

The Doctor (Hard Heads/Anothalevel Prod)-SF-
The Doctor has been taking the Bay Area by storm with his hard, and energetic style of Jungle/Drum N' Bass. Having been in the scene for over 10 years, he's no stranger to the Electronica scene. Although it wasn't until 2001 when be began showing interest in becoming a DJ. Five years later, The Doctor has managed to "operate" at numerous events up and down California as well as out of state bookings in Nevada and Washington. He's also graced numerous radio shows and web broadcasts. Holding down residencies with BR Productions, Liquidvinyl DJ’s, Rhythm Method, DTS, Elev8, and Hard Heads, it's no surprise that The Doctor has become one of the most prominent and busiest people in the Bay Area underground scene.

Lostboy (SSU.Rec/Systems Insane)-NV-
Lostboy has been dominating the southern California Happy Hardcore scene for the past 6 years with his relentless mix of Happy Hardcore, Hardcore and Drum N' Bass. Playing next to huge talent such as Brisk, Aphrodite, Armand Van Helden, KRS-One and Carl Cox, he has become an icon in the southwestern United States. He has also been doing events in the Los Angeles area for the past five years and has built up quite a reputation in the process. His pure passion for the hardcore sound has pushed him into producing his own music for the past three years. In 1999 he was signed to SSU Recordings in Sacramento and has since worked with the likes of Simon Apex, Fade, Devestate, Coyote and DNA. His first single, "Reaching The Edge", has become a favorite of many DJs around the United States and has even been getting some play in Europe. His future goals are to have his music heard and recognized world wide and to continue building the Hardcore scene.

SELF DESTRUCT aka KIDDO & TONY C. (Fully Loaded/Animated/Imperial)
This new Dynamic Duo is ready to give you a special debut set that will give you the full energy on the dance floor. Kiddo is considered to be one of the fastest rising DJ’s in SoCal. Since the beginning of 2004, this self-taught Happycore & Freeform prodigy has made him perform at over 50 events throughout California within the past two years. Once Tony C. began playing at parties all over Los Angeles in the year 2000, he found that the Drum N' Bass & Freeform crowds are the ones that really pump him up and give him the ability to hype up his crowd. These two crazy katz together can expand the mind and soul with their stunning Freeform beats, and will make you dance on the dance floor until your feet cannot dance no more.
Wirdowe (=Underground Sound=)
Working along side Jonathon Morning and being the owner of Underground Sound, this DJ is one of the most respected outdoor event promoters in southern California. His last event "Perception" brought together over 1000 so-cal ravers that kept going until the early morning. Managing to rock the crowd with thumping rubber beats and heavy pounding grooves, Wirdowe can put on a set like no other. His flawless mixing skills and his outstanding DnB track selection can make you dance with an attitude. Don't miss his premiere set for Addicted Events at Smurfy-3!
T. ERROR - (SCC/Radical Pro Djs/Panic Booth)
Creator of SoCalConnections, one of so-cal’s biggest and baddest rave crews, T. Error is always ready to destroy the crowd with intense dance floor Drum N’ Bass that will keep you "jumping up". Covering event Production to extreme full frontal promotion, he does it all on the never-ending quest for underground supremacy. To complete the package, all genres of Jungle/DnB are mashed in to this technically programmed madness of his DJ set! His scratching skills will keep the crowds pumped from the beginning to the end. Don’t miss his special closing set at Smurfy-3 this year! His talented abilities will not disappoint!
HELLS HAMMER (FTKF/Addicted)
Ever since going to his first Hardcore party in the year 2000, Hells Hammer has been in love with the hard bass sounds of Hardcore. It was that year when he started becoming serious about his DJ career. With his eager behavior and his ambitions attitude, he then started to get gigs at Q-Topia, and at the every Friday night event “TeknoKlub” at the Orion Events Center. As soon as his talents and his capabilities became fully noticed, his name soon started to spread throughout the southern California rave scene. In June of 2003, Hells Hammer spun at his first massive event “Bigger” which witnessed over 1500 guests. He without a doubt made the stage bounce, and ever since then, his name quickly became apart of every crews lineups. Hammer is blowing up his deejay career to different levels every year. He's now looking into producing, and has a mind full of great and exciting ideas to come.
Twilight & Cetra (NBR/Distorted Trauma/Adam Worldwide)
The boyfriend/girlfriend duo of Cetra and Twilight have long been Los Angeles hardcore favorites. With nearly 20 years of experience combined, the couples talent and drive have landed them bookings in Northern California, Arizona, Indiana, Canada and Holland. Spinning anything and everything from Partycore to Gabber to the twisted sounds of Darkcore and Industrial, Twilight and Cetra can deliver a hard-hitting performance that no one can forget. Upon arriving to Smurfy-3, these two will be armed with records, head phones and needles. When the moment of truth arrives, Cetra & Twilight will give everyone in attendance one complete and total mind blowing hour of the hardest and most deadliest hardcore they can dish out.

Perhaps it is because ARMIN isn't there...his last couple LA shows have caused ticket prices to jump to 100 and 120 respectively...
Giant village costs half of that...
