First, the formats:
When I edit videos and whatnot, either I use the Windows Movie Maker, bundled with most copies of Windows, or I use Final Cut Pro, installed in my brother's computer. I'm thinking of uploading a documentary I'm making for university, but it's not finished yet. Everything I've uploaded so far were random commercials I found thanks to Bit Torrent (should be illegal, but it's actually "study material" to some), but I'm sure there would be no problem using these programs and uploading the files afterwards. :)

i'm going to use FCP. i was just trying to put together some samples for a class i'm teaching but samples i wanted require qt7 and the school computers are running osX 10.2 that won't support qt7. in addition they use a restrictive firewall that blocks most multimedia on the web. fukcin pain |

I'm afraid Youtube's format might be blocked by this firewall. But do give it a try, we never know. It's quite easy to register, and you can upload anything in order to test the system (you could try uploading these samples, and you don't need to make them public). You can even delete it afterwards, if you prefer. |
