Jazz: What do you like? What kind of jazz-influenced EDM are you into?

I'm a huge fan of a wide variety of Jazz, everything from dixieland to Miles, MMW to Stan Getz, etc. and so on... Anyone else here big into Jazz?

Some of my favorite pieces:

"Flamingo Sketches" off of Miles Davis "Kind of Blue"

- Easily one of my all time favorite pieces of music, this is 15 minutes of pure relaxation for me. I put it on anytime I need to chill and it seriously just takes me away from the occasional stress of life instantly.

"Partido Alto" by Medeski, Martin, and Wood off of their album "The Dropper."

- A cover of a Cassia Eller, a Brazillian (I think...) vocalist, tune, this track pretty much sums up what I love about modern jazz. From the moment the piano line starts I'm hooked. I have an AMAZING version of this tune as performed live by MMW with Trey Anastasio from Phish on guitar that is without a doubt one of the single best live improvisational pieces I have ever heard.

"Summertime" as performed by Sarah Vaughan, and specifically the version remixed by UFO that appears on the first Verve Remixed album.

- Everytime I hear this track I cringe at the thought that most people think "Summertime" is a Sublime song; And while that bands effort wasn't terrible by any stretch, the truly great versions of it are done by the great female jazz vocalists of the early to mid 20th century. Vaughans voice is haunting - It sends chills down my spine.

I'll add more if this thread actually goes anywhere and people are interested, but as an aside, what jazz influenced EDM tracks have any of you all enjoyed? I've really been looking to put together a very much jazz influenced set lately and I'm in dire need of suggestions...

In any event, what do you all think of Jazz music, and if you dig it, who do you dig and why?
