So I had the pleasure to join Mr. DJ Jason Jenkins the man himself with Toddy B on the radio Live on 101x this past weekend. A couple of good guys who are really trying to revive the scene here in Austin, and I have to admit they're putting a lot of effort and doing a hell of a job. So...DOWNLOAD IT! This is a bit of a resurrection, but. . .
I was tearing apart the closet just now, trying to make some sort of organization out of 4 duffel bags' worth of TA-50 issued equipment, and I'd put on the Anjunabeats Mix Music Choice set into iTunes while I was working. It's about an hour long or thereabouts. Anyway, it finished before I did and shifted onto the next track, and I didn't notice because I was deep in old DCUs and . All of a sudden, I found myself groovin' to what was playing, and my internal clock told me that Anjunabeats was over with, and had been for a good several minutes. I dropped what I was doing to check and see what track it had transitioned to that had me shaking my ass in a closet while hip-deep in assorted military issue crap, and it was:
