An Austrian comes to Australia and needs advice :)

Hi Mates!
I'm from Austria and will come to Australia from the 10th of july to the 27th of july! really looking forward to it!
i'll be living at the place of my relatives there in Sydney! As I have absolutely no clue about the clubbing scene here but i guess you have great clubs and cool lineups!
i'm into progressive house, trance and techno!
would be also cool if i can meet up with some of you at cool events so that i don't have to go all alone ;)
advices about cool parties appreciated :)

For prog, generally, you will want to attend any sweetchilli events .. if a smaller well known international is out here it is more than likely that they have brought them out. If it isn't sweetchilli that has brought them out, it will be another event called MUSICA that has. The Habit nights are probably the best local monthly nights for that style too.
Other than that, there is also the Chinese laundry @ Slip Inn and Tank nightclub that pull the big internationals for prog (Sweetchilli will get some big names every now and then too).
As for trance, keep an eye out for the tracetribe parties which will be starting up again soon and that failing, the Joshandfriendspresent parties are pretty much the only consistant trance parties left. There are other events but theyre generally harder etc
Tech nights i don't know much about .. I know that Mad Racket is a good monthly tech night.

| Be wary of those sydney folks Tenshi...they are G bunnies from way back...they drink the stuff in pints mate...Just watch your back, ive heard many a story in sydney where people have woken up with sore backsides! ;) Its the new epidemic sweeping sydney! |

Hi Tenshi,
Sydney's biggest uplifting trance event is on July 14!!! You should definately check it out :)
Also be sure to check out www.joshandfriends.com.au as we have almost all of Sydney's Trance events listed there!!
