| He's around. He's probably looking up the splits of how Francisco Liriano does on the road in night games against opponents west of the Mississippi when a righthander is on the mound who throws mainly sliders. Or some other obscure baseball stat in order to stay in first in the Fantasy League. |

haha, I love obscure stats like that. They break them out in the middle of the game just to screw with you.

yeah, we'll sure as hell catch up this year to win the AL East. As long as Johnson's on his way back and A-Rod's skill level is bound to improve (it makes me sad when they boo him in Yankee Stadium).

Yeah, but sometimes those stats can get annoying. I can hear it now, "Oh my God! Giambi has never hit a home run in the 4th Inning after having his a triple in the 3rd inning the game before, a double in the 2nd inning the game before, and a single in the 1st inning the game before that! Can you believe it!" --- I know that was an exageration, but sometimes it seems that the announcers run out of interesting things to say, so they come up with these pointless stats. |
