Just got back from the show. I arrived @ 10:40ish expecting paul to go on @ 12:00. But to my dismay he had canceled the show!!!!! Apparently he wasnt feeling good? :whip: Who knows. I know he canceled his AZ show for the past weekend, I think he should have atleast givin the club more then 1 hours notice that he wasnt showing up!!
Me and my 2 friends went in anyways, no cover and they had $5 drink specials to hold the crowd. I have to say Stingaree is the nicest venue ive been too in SD with regards to the interior styling, VERY NICE!!! Id like to see them host other events. I think Armin, Ferry or Tiesto would be awesome there. The sound system also KICKS ASS much better then On Broadway!!
I dont know if he was schedueled to play tonight but Boris MD showed up around 11:45ish and started spinning. I am thinking they called him in last min to replace Oakenfold. Boris is great and always plays a good set and the crowd seemed to get into it.
Turned out to be a rather fun night either way, good cheap drinks, no cover, kick ass sound system, Boris MD on the decks and of course Desiree SDTA's favorite dancer was there working it on the Box like no one else! :D |
