why the isn't the search function working properly?
i know for a fact (and bas will back me up and so will jdat) that there were 2 threads started in the unknown tracks forum like almost a half a year ago by jdat, asking to ID 2 different tunes that i love. the names of the threads were "Slylee tune i.d. part 1" and Slylee tune i.d. part 2". maybe that's not the exact order of words, but that shouldn't matter when i type in "slylee tune" where it says "containing these words" when i'm searching.
anyway, the damn threads aren't showing up, and omid16B wrote back to me about them and said he would have a listen to try and I.D. them for me and i really dont want to be bothered by finding the set again and cutting out those exact parts and uploading them, etc..
why can't i find those threads with those samples? i tried doing a username search for me and jdat and still nothing. i really dont think he deleted them either...

| Maybe try going into your (or Jdat's) profile and doing 'all posts by this user'. Maybe not as effective as the search but, if you remember roughly when the posts were, you can gauge your browsing by that. |

| yea the search is ed up sometimes. i look for and it tells me the search needs to be 4 letters or longer, but what i am searching for is like 7 or 8 letters (of course without space) |

How long ago were the threads? I'll look for them for you. |

| the search by 'containing words' won't work if you just type 'slylee'. Slylee is the username, NOT a word in the post's content. So you gotta put "slylee' in the username slot in the search window, and then type in 'containing words' field the words you think were in the actual message of the thread. |
