Right...where to start...
1st of all, that snake was more like 7 feet rather that 30. Rattlers can push 12 feet depending on species and sex (females are larger) but no where near 30. I've seen larger rattlers than that guy so i dunno why he said its a big one...
It looked staged as no dick head would be sat down saying he's scared then stand up and point at the snake asking whats the vibrating tail mean because trust me...you know!...even if you know nothing about snakes the noise of the rattle makes you break out in a cold sweat its weird.
Usually with snake bites (depending on if the snake has haemotoxic or neurotoxic venom - rattlers are haemotoxic) you dont feel anything, it doesn't burn or sting for atleast 10 minutes because it takes that long for the venom to start destroying muscle tissues around the bite. The only pain you will feel is from the 2 puncture holes of the bite which geneally feels like you've had an injection from the doctors.
The paramedics should have lifted him to stop his body from moving therefore pumping blood and vemon around quicker and his hand should have being held as high as possible and a tourqinet put on.
I dunno if they used an Epi-pen or not but they should have done that too.

Finally, if this was real...those snake handlers had no clue what they were doing! There was no back up man with a snake hook incase the one handler got bit and went down. You should never be sat down when handling venemous snakes because they strike lightning fast as seen in the video. I know from handling snakes professionally that they need respect...i say no respect or proffesionalism in this video.

WOW!

thanks for all that information jackson!!

So all i wonder, was this a hoax? kinda bad publicity if you ask me!

Think about it logically though...i couldnt have been live because they beeped him out swearing. And would the TV station still show it if it was real and the guy was in a critical state (which he would more than likely be if it wasn't a dry bite)

If it is fake...its ing disgusting that they would do this! I've almost lost 2 of my friends to veneomous snake bites! One got bit by a green mamba on the thumb in February, the other got bit by a king cobra last month and is lucky to be alive.

I dont know. Live TV shows usually have a delay of a few seconds so its technically possible for them to bleep it out

the biggest give away is that the parametics are right there and the ambulance is waiting outside without any sirens. you can also see the snake handler pole and arm moves towards kimmel during the bite. they change to a different camera during the bite so you can't see the handler.

but it fooled me the first time around so i say its was a pretty good stunt.
RapidFire
has he sued the snake yet?
Spike
yeah this was a hoax....i wish it was a real snake tho. a black mamba in fact....lol that would be funnny
kadomony
yea doesnt look like a real rattlesnake, plus the handler is movin it all around from the neck. real snake would be moving over the hook

SPAWNmaster
its not real its on NO news sites and the rest of the show goes on with him runnin the show because the theme was doctors and whatnot...the cast of gray's anotomy was on as well. also notice the camera's conveniant cuts and zoom ins and whatnot (especially the zoom before the trainer lunges the snake at jimmy).
