hey guys, if you've already seen me posting this on myspace then i apologize lol, but for everyone else, i've had a new mix posted up for a few days and i'd appreciate it if you'd listen to it. it's a pretty typical JR mix (AKA it includes at least 1 sandra flyn track, and the adam sheridan mix of "lume") lol. i'd really appreciate it if you'd give this a listen and let me know what you think. if you want me to listen to anything of yours in return, i'd be glad to do so. thanks... :)

here we go...
unexpected start, no build-up just kinda started bumping, feeling of really sped up house... groovy tho.
not sure what just happened around 8 mins... was that a mix? i mean it kinda kicked in but... really banging now.
ok no the mix is later, really upbeat from the beginning my mind is all over the place, needs a build-up towards these songs - they're all monsters on my energy.
nice melodies, smooth mixing. getting a little techier through the middle.
i gotta say it's not a bad trance set, i mean the mixing was solid for me... you HAVE to get a sence of set building though, i just don't see how dropping all these tunes and exhausting the crowd in the first hour of your set will do any good, gotta get the crowd listening first, then start to groove and slowly build them up to these types of tunes, these songs are solid if this was hour 2 of your 3 hour set or something like that. |

thank you VERY much for your review. i really appreciate it.
in regards to your opinion that i spin too many bangers and not enough fillers, i spin euphoric trance and the closest i'll get to hard trance is sandra flyn. i don't like spinning progressive or anything like that, it's just not my style at all. and besides, i think a set these days with maybe too much energy is better than some of those sets out there without any. :D |
