Do you hate your friends?

After a year at college, I realized how much alot of my highschool friends suck. They dont really respect me and I just dont have fun while im around them. There are a few that I love, but for the most part, things in college are so much better.
Anyone else made the realization that their friends kinda suck or that they treat you like or just dont care about you? |

Well sometimes the test of friendship is how much you can endure. I'm not speaking for everyone, but things can happen that can strain and test your binds with your friends.
College is especially tough. I think college is a process where you find out who your true friends are. If you can withstand the tenure of college and still remain friends then kudos to you. But college is the time where you meet new people and (not to sound cheesy or anything) "find" yourself.
Friends come and go in your life, if you've ever noticed. The ones that stay are the ones that make your life that much more better. |

there are attributes that i dont like about some of my mates but thats ok
hate is a strong word to use with friends |

yup! for the most part i have at least 2 friends like that.. ones that i grew up with and will always be by my side till the end.
i love that saying "bro's before hoes" lol we used to use that a lot when anyone of us didnt want to chill with our gf's |

| there's lots of 'friends' i know from highschool that i dont particularly care about, i'd still stick up for them in a fight and stuff, but i dont talk to alot of them that i dont care for on msn or anything, just in those big 'group' functions. |

Samuel I know exactly what you mean, but you should understand that your friends evolve and change too. Not always in a good sense (a lot of my old friends changed into dicks or just unpleasant people) |

1st thing I love that pic! I found it doing a random google search for "culo" or was it "culo magnifico"... just wow!
Now onto the topic, I think im still friendly with 3 - 4 people I went to high school with. I don't have time for as many friends as I used to, and thats good for me also cause I get alot of stuff done. As time goes on people change, remember that. People who were your friends some time ago now might be the total opposite of you and or what your interested in.
Life long friends are hard to find, ive got 3 no matter what, where, or when they can count on me, as I can do the same with them. :cool:
( oh one ive known since I was born,other two ive become friends with in the last 6 - 3 years) |
