Congratulations Italy For Being THe New Crowned Champions Of The Soccer World Cup 2006.
The penalty shoot-out just ended with a 5-3 (1 Remaining) verdict in favor of Italy. So France gets the silver spoon.

Throughtout the world cup, i supported teams that i saw playing better. So, i rarely got a chance to support Brazil, my pre-tournament favourite.
Nonetheless, enjoyed some quality football though far less goals scored this year.
My only grudge against Italy - the defeated Australia by unfair means (With the help of a biased referee and 'good acting'). |

SAD SAD SAAAAAAAAAD that the world cup it's over :-( .. 4 more years in South Africa 2010.
Even though I was siding with France, congrats to the Italians. Didnt even think of them getting that far, and winning the world cup, not at all. |

Yeah I agree, that was very wrong & classless...esp. to end his career. I would have never wanted to end such a great & long career and only being remember as the guy who head-butted Materazzi in the final game...no matter what he said, hell I would have waited till the game was over & then caught him in the locker room or outside :p
Congrats to Italy though...their defense is truly the best. Especially Cannavaro  haha
I'm so sad it's over! There's nothing exciting to watch now! :(
