| Okay so last night I am mixing on my CDJs when I notice only the left channel is showing up in the cue. When I mix in the track, sure enough only 1 channel is coming through. I put it on mono and continued mixing, and decided to take a look at it today. I swapped out the RCA cables, tried different inputs on my mixer, NOTHING WORKS! So I try the digital out...theres NO SOUND coming out of it at all, I know my signal path isn't screwed up because I plugged it into my 2nd CDJ and it played fine. What should I do? I got the CDJ off eBay and its definately out of warranty! |

1) you got it off ebay you can file a complaint, IF the CDJ it was it was false adverstiment
2)pay to get it fixed.
3) sell a CDJ that "Won't blow your ears!" on ebay
nothing else you can do. |

If you’re adventurous, and its not under warranty, open it up.
I bought a CDJ-800 on ebay, no warranty, and after a month the platter started to get “stuck”
I opened it up, and it turned out that one of the foam pads that sense when you are touching the platter was stuck. I dislodged it, and cut it so it didn’t operate any more, and now the CDJ works fine.
Although my problem was mechanical, and I was sure of it, I know nothing about electronics, so if that is the problem, unless you’re an electrician, maybe don’t follow my advice. |
