so if france had won from penalty kicks then they dont deserve the win either? let me rephrase that. if ANY team wins by penalty kicks then they dont deserve the trophy?
both teams had equal opportunity at penalty kicks so whoever wins deserves the trophy. |

No that's not what i meant...I meant that France had a much harder road to the final than Italy did...they had a very controvercial win over Australia too. I'm not taking away from their victory, they definitely beat France...but "deserve" the trophy, I'm not so sure. |

here is how i see it.
any team that wins the cup deserves it. they all gave it everything they got and sacrifice a lot to become the world's best.
unfortunately, there can only be one winner....

I was rootin' for the French, but in HELL NO WAY could the French ever throw a victory party like the Italians did. Great party, great pix.
