Need help finding environmental ambience tracks

Ok, I know this will sound strange, but maybe there is something like this somewhere out there. Does anyone know of, like.....fantasy-type ambient tracks? Some examples would be like, environmental sounds in a fantasy-like world, maybe with dinosaurse or strange creatures making noise in the background. I guess what I'm looking for is what you'd hear on a regular 'sounds of nature' album only with unrealistic sounds, perhaps even organic sounds like from another planet. I know Lustmord has some nice tracks that follow that style, but I'm trying to find something that has strange creature and/or environmental sounds. I know of an album called "Soundscapes of the Dinosaurs" which is cool, but I wonder if there is more like this. It would be nice to find something like that without music too. If I've confused anyone let me know, lol. Hopefully there is something like this out there. If not, it needs to be done.

I'm glad you've asked this question.

One that come to mind now are Bedouin Ascent - Mammon, my favorite ambient track. It was only released on two albums, Chill Out or Die III and Chill Out or Die America. Both are pretty easy to find nowdays. Anyway, Mammon begins with an awesome animal bellowing sound. But what kind of animal is it? I'm not sure, but I wouldn't like to come across it. Percussions follow soon after and pretty much drive the track until there is a melancholy ending. FOr this reason, I suggest looking into getting thew version on COD 3, because its the last track whil on CODA, it sandwiched between two other tracks and you can't get the full flavor.

A second track is Deep Space Network - Zenn La, a good ambient track with lush soundscape and animal sounds in the back. Again the animal sounds is dominated by one seemingly large animal in particular.

A final track is Twelvetrees - The Chillin Fields, a ambient track with more of a downtempo feeling. It also has a large animal sound in it.

You might want to check out Jaia - Fiction.

Especially the 'Gate' tracks, the ambient bits between actual tunes.

Steve Roach produces ambient-environmental music. It's nature mixed in with space music. It's very spiritual and tranquil, with some darker stuff thrown in. I'de definitely give it a try...he's released many albums. Also try John Serrie, he's a popular space and environmental producer, a bit new age i'de say. His stuff very much reflects the night sky, i'de say it's perfect observatory or planetarium music. Or you could check out Robert Rich, he makes similar stuff to Steve Roach and John Serrie, though a bit darker.
