I'd like to thank those who came out on Saturday, and made my b-day party a very special one! It was great to see many of you when I arrived to the club around 2am. Thank you to Daniel for the 'mixer' (lol - nice one), and to Yvonne and Joe for you thoughtful card and gift :)

The night itself was amazing. Perfect sized crowd, and obviously when you are surrounded by so many friends it adds to the atmosphere. Tunes were fantastic. Nevio towards the end played a couple of my favourite tunes right now (which i keep forgetting to ask him ID's on), and Sean played the most tweaked out, grungy set I have ever heard from him. Very experimental, dark, and with the exception of maybe 3 or 4 tracks, it was all new material. Technically, probably the best set I have heard all year. Nevio came back on around 8:00, and him and Sean played back to back until close to 9:30.

I was in the booth at this time, and I told Nevio I had a track I wanted him to throw down to finish the night. I handed it to him, and in response he hands me the headphones. "Happy Birthday buddy, you close it out.". So I threw down the last track of the morning. Thanks Nev, that was an incredible way to cap a fantastic party. For those who were asking, the track i dropped was "Matthew Dekay & Roob V - Dubio"... the bassline was ing lethal on that system :eyespop:

Special thanks to Jennstar for making arrangements for the VIP area, and for treating my guests like gold. They all couldnt believe the treatment you gave them.

Yeah, the club has definately made improvements on the lighting (toned it down a bit), and the sound system has been much improved since the addition of the new mixer and sound adjustments.

:D

good seeing you out andrew!

So now I am beyond pissed... :whip: :whip:

How did I miss this? What was I thinking leaving before the club had even thought of closing yet?

Jeff I hope you had an amazing night. The tunes that Sean was laying down (the ones I heard) were awesome. Sorry I missed you drop the last track of the morning. Next time :D

Sounds like u had a great time. Wish I could have made it, but since I have family over, I decided to take it easy and spend some ' family time'.
