Synaesthesia (The Thrillseekers Club Mix) ...I only checked the Alaska Sunset Mix that is pretty good too never checked other versions ...
Affinity (Complexz Remix) I only checked Thillseekers Dub but I stay with this version ... |

Affinity (Thrillseekers Dub)
I actually don't mind the vocals. It's not like they take over the whole track, rather I think they enhance it. They only appear in the breakdown with the "ooooooaaaaaa" and "aaaffinity". Angelic vocals are really cool IMO, esp with trance music, maybe because I was into Enya before I was into trance. Prefer them to the vocals in his other releases like under Thrillseekers, like "Dreaming of You" or "Synaethesia". The "Thrillseekers Dub" just sounds warmer and crisper to me than the Original of this, which seems a bit plain to me. Subtle changes like some minor vocals or effects can sometimes enhance a track. In this case I think it did..
Synaethesia (En Motion Mix)
Can't stand the vocals of the original in this one. This is a case where I think the vocals ruin the track. On the other hand, the instrumental of this, specifically the "En Motion Mix" really turn this into a timeless track. |
