Yeah, I'm the joke. You're the ing moron who bothers everyone with new threads all the time. Even though he's my friend, I didn't want a new mod. That said, one of the main reasons he took, and was supported, to take the job was to clean up the sort of you create.
Grow up and go back to your playpen if you can't take criticism like an adult. Either that, or contribute something useful, rather than be an annoying leech.
Also, I'd respect your rebuttal insults if they were original, rather than copied from a friend of mine who posted 2 hours before you.

For TA members, the questions I asked were genuine, this guy seems to picture me as self-centered cause I seem to make him feel small. all it would take is a quick response like 'yeah, he opens at 5'-isn't that better than the hostile-'ban this mofo' or 'you can't read..?' I mean seriously, trance music is feel-good euphoric music, makes me happy always, but I'm surprised by the negativity on this board. & to set the record straight, I never posted about sneaking in drugs, whoever that is.

seems you accuse people without reading also? never posted about sneaking in drugs. also, man, this is a board about trance music, not the FBI forums where every thread has to be filtered & (approved by you?) they're threads, man-they get a response, are read & vanish. just a thread! does it cost you money everytime I post one? why the vicious attacks, man? are you ok? cause if you're ok, you would have to be quite the most pathetic human being I've seen for doing what you do-getting acted up about a simple thread on a message board for dance music? you sound like a 3 year old-"Daddy, please ban him from the store, he's looking at my ice cream..please, Daddy, please..before I bawl!"
unlike you, groundhog, some of us have lives and don't go through 38 page threads in here on a daily basis to read the negativity coming from people like yourself. I'm a member of several boards, such as the GU board, hybridized etc and by now I would have gotten a couple of Respectful, Mannerly & Helpful answers on those boards-words an uncivilized, unstable, in-need-of-prozac runt like yourself would be unfamiliar with. so now, tell us, tell the board why you really hate me. did someone tell you I have a BA in American Lit, I have professors on my buddy list so it made you feel stupid about yourself? sorry, can't help you there. or do you know me-have I dissed you somewhere? cause there is deep-seated hatred behind your posts, man-I Knew I would be getting a response from you in this post, you played right into it.

This board is more about the EDM scene and its different flavors than squarely about trance. A number of the members who originally joined
TA for trance has moved on to different EDM genres.

Acetate, what more can I say, you're much cooler than I if you really took my criticism to a completely different forum. While your spam may go over well with them, it doesn't with me (and a lot of others on here). Please reference this thread for examples - Mod Discussion. Creating multiple threads about the exact same topic causes the topic to get partitioned off, therefore never creating a unified thread. It makes it hard to reference old threads and causes lots of duplicate posts. You were warned about it before. The part that most pissed me off about you to start was that in your first post on TA (in the Markus Schulz thread) asked about set times. Your question was answered in ther(correctly, now that you know post-event), by someone who even said they'd heard from the opener the set times. After that, unsatisfied with the answer given, you created a new thread, asking the exact same thing. I don't have a deep-seated hatred for you, just for stupidity, which is exactly what that post, and the majority of those since, convey.
This is a NY trance forum. Obviously there are plenty of posts about Serge Devant. I wouldn't have even given you as much of a hard time if you'd posted in Music Discussion, because you might get some outside perspectives whose opinions haven't been voiced on the NY forum. Instead, you wasted our time with a redundant topic.
If you knew anything about me, you'd know that your complete 3rd paragraph doesn't mean much. My credentials are higher than that, though I will confess, I have no professors on my buddy list. I worked for my grades, rather than making my profs my best friends to get them. I am shocked, however, that you didn't learn how to use a search engine while you were in school, which would aid you greatly here. How did you write papers and do research? Oh wait, now I understand why you have professors on your buddy list.
Lastly, I apologize for mixing you up with someone else regarding the drugs issue. pvd420 referenced another thread that was deleted the other night where someone stupidly asked how to sneak in drugs. I ripped that kid up because that sort of thing, especially before an event, puts the event at risk. Since the thread is gone, I mistook him for you, and for that I apologize. All of my other complaints stand, though.
Now I'm off to bed. I hope you and your G-Unit have fun mocking throughout the night. |

if i remember correctly from the deleted thread, the question was asked about security because someone "kinda wanted to bring blunts inside". i dont take that as asking how to do it, more of just how was security so they can figure the rest out on their own. as i read the review from friday before going saturday, i saw reports of the rediculous number of security and cops that were there the day before, and then decided not to bring anything at all with me and just go completely sober. i ended up having a great time regardless and felt better not having to worry about carrying stuff around because of all the security watching like hawks.
my issue with that thread was the "oh off" response directed towards the poster and groundhog's rant about being a drug babysitter on here because someone asked how security was and explained why they wanted to know. sure they could have left off the last part about why they wanted to know, but i dont think it warranted the response it got.
some people roll and smoke at shows, some dont. some people are into the whole glowsitcks and lights things, a lot arent. i think it is stupid when people get all worked up over this stuff. drugs will always be a threat to a show regardless of what is posted on some message board on the internet.
as for what acetate said about not wanting to read through 38 pages of a thread to find information, i can relate to that. sadly i dont have as much time to come on here as i used to and read through all the interesting discussions about a show, pre and post. i think what would work better is if he posted something in the thread first (by using the search button if needed), and then wait a day or so beore making his own thread about it. i can recall a few times that i have posted stuff and waited for a response to a question i had before starting a new thread about it because no one was responding to my question in the original thread.
