| from what i heard, reason is the best producing software available. its really big though and i have no clue where to get it. i think www.download.com has a trial version though. try searching in there. |

Reason is awesome! I found it for free after searching for months. Some dude at another forum was nice enough to upload all the files to an ftp. I burned them all on two installable CD's with the crack and everything.
It takes a while to learn how to use it though. I've finally gotten most of it down. |

| I find it best to create samples in FruityLoops, Reason, ReBirth etc. and then putting it all together in Acid Pro 3... |

Hola DJ Cubano!
This is Sarah-->Aka Waxen. :P
Hmm.. where do I start!.. Well it all depends if you are working with a synthesizer or if you are mainly using samples from the programs you have. If so I have way too many to list.
I noticed that someone mentioned REASON which is what Im using now, although it's a little overwhelming when you look at it because there are sooooooooooo many buttons and knobs, but as long as you know what they mean, then it's smooth sailing from there. If you have worked with any sort of editing system then it shouldn't be a problem. You can even open it up from the back and change wires around.. that's how detailed it is. Fruity loops is good too, as well as SoundForge although their both really basic, which might be good for you since your just "starting". I know a lot of people who own synthesizers and work with them are more likely to use soundforge (as I've seen), but with the basic programs (Rebirth etc.), your options are limited and there isn't a wide variety of samples to choose from, and areas of change... so it's probably best to work with something really complex and just take the time to learn it on your own.
If you are interested in REASON... I can send you the program, but all the samples are on a cd I have which is about 600 megs or so, and I can also send you that, but it depends on your connection and how much space you have. If you download any of the "singles" on this site, your likely to not have much space like myself. lol.
