OK guys,
I've been wanting to increase my chillout album collection for the times I just want to relax. (And YES, I've used the search function)
I just wanted to get your ideas on any good albums that are relaxing and flow well. So far my favorite is Vargo's Beauty, so anyting along that line would be great. Thanx

The KLF Chillout Album? I think that's what it's called. I've heard it and it's pretty sweet.
Otherwise Boards of Canada are amazing, Ryuichi Sakamoto and his collabs with David Sylvian.
Maybe David Sylvian makes his own chilly stuff, I dunno - just check it out, dude. |

ing damn right! thats a quality album, though i think its a bit short
the orbs adventures of that underworld album is really good for acid trips and too, they seem to paint a fantasy world with sound samples, really s with ur head if ur doped up haha |

Nice! Will have to check that out.
Actually, you guys should check out the Sending Orbs label (I think it's hte labels name). Not sure, but in any case one of the artists name is Secede and this guy/girl's made some REALLY dope . Chcek out Tryshasla and My Dogan! |

despite the packaged-feel of them, i have to admit the entire nettwerk chillout series does do it for me. I know it's not chillout per se, but you can chill out to it :D

I think that's the 2001 version. There are links on that page to the 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 version.
Beyond that .. The Orb, plus select Shpongle tracks
Plus, lots of Underworld tracks are so dark and stream-of-conciousness and downtempo that I find them very chill.
