1st thing that you really need to get rid of is the overuse of the same effect sample. the track is a lil empty at times. the nintendo'ish lead is pretty neat but i don't think it sells. probably a supersaw would be nice :P i like the bass after the breakdown... sounds full, but then again, it's pretty standard 4/4 bassline. i would expect more synth work for it to get my attention. the vox sounds good to me.

so.......

more varied effects through the track
supersaw on the main lead
change the bass? or does 4/4 sound ok

This is only my 2nd track so not too sure what else i could do

thanks loads for feedback LENG, I really appreciate it :)

i don't have quality tracks... so, why don't the other pro's in here chip in some feedbacks?

Not my cup of tea, since it's too hardcore for me, but I'll coment on the production aspects.
Try to balance the overall mix so that it's pleasing to the ear, right now I feel like there is too much high frequency content. The voice is too repetitive. Also, the lead has potential even though the melody is very simple. Try to develop it more.
I think that the instrument balance is pretty good, but you need to work on the arrangement. That's probably the hardest part, since nowdays you can already buy awesome patches for your synths, but when it comes to arranging you gotta do it yourself.
All in all, good start, but does not sound like a finished product.

Thanks Effero!

Yeah - I'm 3/4's of the way there.

The only probs with my melody is that it's arping a few basic notes and if i change the instrument then the melody changes if you know what I mean.

cheers for feedback - wicked!!!

My comments:

That vocal sample is annoying and used way too much. Maybe if you used it just once or twice.

That whoosh sound is WAY overused and starts to sound boring after hearing it twice.

The nintendo sounding lead loop is nice the first few loops, but it needs to evolve or morph into something else otherwise it will tire out your listener. Also, the sound just sounds very tiny and quantized to death. No emotion.

The song is too repetative.

Needs better structure and chord progression.

I like the bass, and your pumping sound.

Good start.

great stuff, thanks!

I have no idea about chord progression but will work on it more. Thanks for feedback everyone!!!
