In the beginning it's smooth. I feel smart. Then when I have 3/4 of the puzzle left, I realize I really don't know what the hell I'm doing and only 2 numbers in my puzzle match the answer sheets.

I know there has to be a ehmm logical means of picking and choosing where to place the 1, 2, 5 etc. etc.

My sister is addicted to that stuff and I figured I would have a go.

I played this for like a week or two tops.
I was filling the sheets so fast I was like uh wtf? This is too easy.

We both did the same sheet at the same time and I was done before she could say I got half the sheet done

I'm pretty sure that Yan invented Sudoku.

Yes, LOGIC.

A logic class! WTF where do you live?

But the real solution to all Soduku is as follows...

Robert Miles - Children is to EDM
as
Soduku is to Logic

Personally Soduku bores me to tears, I much prefer Games (tm) magazine's Battleships

basically looks like you have a 9 x 9 square with random numbers 1-9 filled in. every row must have 1-9 and every diagonal must have 1-9. so basically you just have to think about how to fill in the squares with numbers to complete the puzzle.

playing so far, doesn't seem to difficult, but who knows how hard this puzzle i'm doing is supposed to be...

You forgot one of the rules. :) You have 9x9 square which contains 9 3x3 squares inside.
Each row, column and 3x3 square must contain numbers 1-9.

Click here to play it.
Nova igra = new game
Savjet = hint
Rijesi = solve
Obrisi = delete/erase

I KNEW you were always on my side, Pubey :gsmile:

At a rinky dink community college here in Missouri,
PHIL 200 = logic.

ok here is an example of a puzzle i just did...

i added the read letters and numbers to help explain the choice of sqaures for numbers...

of course starting out you wanna pick the sqaures with the most numbers already filled in.

i started out with the top right hand corner first on this one because i already saw a couple of numbers i could put in.

in this square you have these numbers missing: 8 , 5 , 1 , 3.

just looking at the board you can already see that 8 cannot be C7 (see D7), 3 cannot be B8 or C8 (see F8).

we still have this choice of two spots to choose from for each number. in order to get more information we need to broaden our look at the board.

look at the bottom left square...

so for this square you're missing 9 , 2 , 3 , 6.

2 has to go in G3 because all of the other squares are blocked (see B1, D2, H8).

6 cannot be H2 (see H9)

so we still have choices to make in these two squares...but the key is now that we know which numbers we have to choose from...between the top right and bottom left squares, we can make some big decisions about either Row C or Row G that will help you to place the numbers correctly.

atleast that's how i approached it i dunno...maybe there is a different way.

i dunno if anyone is even gonna bother reading this so i'll stop there unless you guys want me to keep going.
