random phaser effects in supersaw

I'm using Reason and 4 subtractor synths to make some supersaws. Some of them have this random phaser sound however that I don't want. It only appears on the first note once I load the combinator patch. All notes after that sound fine. But if I reload the patch and hit a key, the phaser sound appears again...does anyone know what's going on?

i think that is pretty normal, no big deal... it happens to v-station, reaktor and superwave vsti's... i only have to warm up the synths before i export them to final rendering product. however, superwave seems to have that phasing effect everytime you stop playing it and resume back.

all the oscs have the same initial phase so you'll get phase cancelation until they drift enough away..

To fix this problem, use the sawtooth/sawtooth*4/sawtooth*16 oscillator in the Malstrom, and set the index on each oscillator differently. |

Try adjusting the phase of the oscillators or use asymmetrical detuning.

yep, those two settings seem to work...i notice this doesn't happen with only saw waves though...seems like whenever u use multiple oscillators and detune, the output isn't always the same (ie. attack volume reaches diff levels each time on the mixer)
