I was just wondering if there are any good TRANCE nights coming up in MTL ? or is Trance dead in MTL ?

ok, not to be a nag, but didn't you just start one of these not that long ago about events?

if you read the forums you will see all sorts of events. Right at the top of the page (although it isn't updated atm) there are posting of which dj's are coming where. When you read the forum you will see these along with other threads started about who is coming where. I know you are new, but just read a page back and you will see :)

Also, trance is dead in Montreal. :p

I started one in the MTL section and one in the TO section. And like I said really don't know who a lot of these guys are and what style of music they spin.

then you just need to read and learn. Also you will find as you are downloading, what you like and what you don't like as far as music goes. When I first started in the scene I knew of Ferry and that was about it. I didn't know anything else. I just started downloading music and listening.. I started reading things online and learning that way. Everyone on this board is going to listen to different styles anyhow. But if you read the threads where there are dj's mentioned you are bound to learn a little. Or go onto their websites and read. No need to start a new thread when the information is given to you that is all. You will also learn from your friends. :)

I only post this for you to stop getting flamed in Toronto. That thread will be closed in TO cuz you also have to read the rules. (there is an events listing for all postings that are related and need to be posted there)

Yeah none of my friends are really into this stuff, its sad, I am kinda like a promoter I tell them how good it is they listen go to the shows and they love it my trance alliance has 4 members now. But anywho I've downloaded like 4 gb of trance from the download thread in the last month...so yeah I am listening and learning slowly. There is just soooo many DJ's and so little time. ANywho thanks for the help.
Toronto's been pretty good this summer for trance. Tiesto, AvB, Oakenfold, ATB, and some others. Haven't seen much in Montreal. Montreal does need some trance. Like what was with this Tiesto crap playing mid Week. Vivre le House a Montreal.

Yeah MTL does need some trance big time. Funny thing is all the trance dj's bring out the biggest crowds, well at least from my personal experience.

No need for a big trance DJ name. When I went to Jon O'Bir, who is pretty unknown compared to Armin, there was a nice crowd and the atmosphere was awesome.

We don't need big trance name. Get a big night with talented DJs. Seriously, I say :

- Nick Pilon
- Jonas Steur
- Menno de Jong
- Thomas B.

All the same night. Shouldn't be that expensive since these guys aren't as popular as Ferry, Armin or Tiesto. But this would be a hell of a night !!!!

Mizza, there is the Trance All Nigt Series at the Aria... with new upcoming trance dj once a month or you have Ferry Corsten in september. :D

Of course, there is also all the underground trance party.

Nick Pilon is the only name you need, Mizza. :P
