Hi everyone,
A lot of my sounds are too low (towards the kick/bass end of the spectrum). But whenever I try to use filters to move them up the spectrum, it doesn't have much effect. Infact, the only way I can move the sound up the spectrum is to move the notation up an octave. How can I fix this problem?
By the way, I use Fruity Loops. |

| A sound doesn't get higher just because you filter the lows. If you want it higher, you would have to pitch it. |

| So does this mean you have to move it up an octave? |

| An octave is a bit drastic. Move them up a semitone at a time till it sounds right. |
