Italy played some of the best football in the world cup, way better than France - OVERALL. Argentina was the other that deserved respect when it came to good football. |

The French ended up getting owned by the Algerians during their war of independance in the late 50s and early 60s. Don't with Algerians or their mothers.
Anyway, back on topic. Favourite player of the tournament: Robinho, although we saw very little of him because of Perreira (the idiot). Made things happen every time he touched the ball. I still don't think he's going to be in the same league as Ronaldo or the other great Brazilian strikers like most people predict, but it was great to see him work some of that magic during this world cup, although in limited opportunities. |
