i dunno. does 20 IQ points make a huge difference? i mean, would i fall under the "mentally retarded" category if i was just average IQ to begin with?

| I'd rather lose an arm. You can easily adapt given a few months. If I were to lose 20 IQ points who knows whether I'd be able to figure out much at all. I dunno how drastic it'd be. |

Well if you're already stupid I don't think 20 less would really matter.
& if you're brilliant, again I don't think 20 would matter...couldn't you just sit there & study your ass off & re-learn whatever it is you lost.
I choose IQ, I need my arm because prosthetic arms are just freaky (& I don't mean that with any offense to anyone who may happen to have one) |

i was watching the discovery channel or something the other day about shark attacks and they brought up that girl in hawaii who lost her arm, and this adorable teenage boy who lost his leg (so sad, he was like crying in the interview)....anyway, my bf asked me if i'd rather lose a leg or an arm, and i said arm cuz the prosthetic leg seemed way better than not having an arm. the fake arms seem harder to make/use than the legs. that kid is able to run with his and play sports. and u can just hide it better with pants...
anyway, i'd rather lose my IQ points because of what boomers said...and i trust him cuz he's getting his masters now in psych. :p |
