You can go to Singapore anytime, its cheap (for overseas) and only about 6 hours (if that) flying from Adelaide direct.
Greek Islands on a off big yacht is pretty much a once in a lifetime.
Do the Islands.
I doubt you'll get bored between the islands, Cyprus and mainland Greece on a yacht. Your second option doesn't seem to include Athens, why not tie the yacht up there for a week or so, that way you reduce the time in the islands and see Athens. |

| greek islands hands down! if you're worried about getting bored on the islands, go explore a bit of the mainland... athens for NO more than 3 days... delphi, corinthos, maybe even a bigger island like crete which has a different culture or some of the ionian sea islands like zakyngthos or kephalonia.... |
