the man is by far one of the best djs out there technically he puts everyone else out there in his pocket... stellar stellar night i just wanna thank everyone who came and made this night A slammer and defenetly a wicked experiance for my ass,
see you guys at the next one ( stereobar July 20th with myself and tonedepth)

All i have to say is WHAT THE !!!
James was INCREDIBLE, this was the party of the summer.
At first i was very skeptical about him playing at Myst over Aria, but was i ever rong. Il take a room packed with pretentious snobs freaking out over a vast dancefloor populated by 19 people who dont reside on this planet anyday. I have to say, everything was spot on. I never thought id ever be saying this but...
FANTASTIC JOB MYST, BRAVO!
If you guys keep this caliber of event up, i shudder to think of the possibilities.
Sorry to pull the "zomg Tiest0rz played Traffic!!1!" fan on you guys but i know that everyone who was there last night feels the same way i do.
Big big thanks to Maher for getting us in and in general, beeing a fantastic host to us all, your truely a stand up guy and il never forget you getting me Gunners signature.
Also loved your set man, nothing but quality mixingwise and track selection wise. You did a great job preparing us for the brit.
Shout out to the TAs, a pleasure as always to see Erika, Nick, Haki, Star, Moe, Alex, Anne (you left without saying bye :( ), Sean and Kate. Also great to see some new faces, you will have to forgive me however, im horrible with names so please dont take offence.
James is just on another levle, his set was insane start to finish, no filler, just one crazy tune after another. It was so nice to watch, he had the bigest smile on his face all night. I personaly loved how he was using Ableton, he integrated it perfectly with the rest of his set and thats exactly how it should be in my eyes.
James finished around 3:30 after playing with his customary "Thank You" sound clip abit and then a sick encore.
I think the moment of the night was when Sean yelled out "I know the guy who made this track" as Zabs was playing Eq whip by Moe, tooo funny :stongue:
WTF WAS UP WITH THAT WIRED TRANNY!!! i bet she/he owns the place. Me and Alex wer daring eachother to go over and ask him/her how much it charges.
One question though, what does a dragon have to do with James Zabiela :conf:
Maher i really hope you didint catch slut rabies from that space cadet who was walking around in her bra :wtf: It was tooo funny watching James totally shaft her in front of everybody when she offered him a beer.
All in all, geat night that wont be forgotten soon, and i want to see pictures ppl :whip: |

James fkn Zabiela is THE best technical DJ out there that I hve seen thus far and I have a feeling he will hold this title in my heart for a loooonnnngggggg time. His fkn fingers were going sooooooo fast that it looked like he was typing on that fkn effects pad he had. His energy was off the hook. He is extremely humble and down to earth...constantly smiling during his set but he doesnt make very much eye contact or crowd connection. He was soooo enjoying himself tho...I dont think he expected such a great vibe for a small and intimate venue like Myst. To the people behind Myst: you guys are doing great :) So nice to see some people who know something about booking in MTL...Hi 2 all my crew (we finally saw gunner!!!)...Mitsu, Moevalith, Nebu (Star), Anne, Piett and Evan, Hakisaki65, Lopitrance, Sean Walsh and Kate, sure I'm forgetting someone (as usual) lol...James Zabiela is my favourite robot!!! Maher, thank you for the hookup ;) and your set was far beyond my expectations, I really enjoyed it :)
All in all, a great night, hope to see you all again soon :) |

He raped the place with his insano tricks and monster tracks, weird science ftw.
I gave him the klingon hand symbol, rawful, and he gave it back, the dude is such a character... The "t-t-t-thank you" clip he was busting out at the end was hilarious. On top of all that, he wasnt boring in the booth, he was jumping around havin a good time so kudos to him on all levels, one of the best nights I can remember.
Shoutout to all the crazies that came out, Maher Daniel especially, dude got my thing signed and offered a sick opener for Zabiela, huge bombs. |

Classic!
I am a lithium battery- fully recharged due to Zab's set last night.
His energy is unparalled. Lol :eyes: those mechanical fingers of speed and precision! What a truly beautiful night all around.
The venu worked out as well too. (A little tight- not much boogie room). So close and personal though. Zab had this amazing sereene expression of happiness the whole night through- even bombarded by the constant flickers of flashes through the crowd.
Once again thank-you to Sterohead, Mitsu, Mova, A- clubber, Julius for comming out and making the night. I wish I wish Juan was there physically, although I know he was dancing with me the whole night.

hehe, same deal with me my friend. I'll find a place though.... i have about 15 minutes of film of Zabiela completely destroying us with skills... and some awesome pics of some star-struck TAs *cough*Erika*cough*
Cheers to Daniel Maher once again for a wicked set to get us in the mood.... the vibe was tight and built up the perfect energy for Zabiela.... in fact, i didn't even notice when James took over the tables... good stuff
Zabiela of course was fracking amazing. The fact that he spends the whole night smiling to himself about how we're loving his music is surreal... cause he's not egotistical, he just loves what he does and loves the fact that we love it. I totally get a "man, if you guys are digging this, then i won't stop. i love you all!" kinda vibe from him when he's up there.
J, you're totally right and glad to hear it Daniel... skank rabies are not cool. Which leads me to my highlight of the night: Miss I-Couldn't-Find-The-Front-Part-Of-My-Dress trying futilely to offer Zabiela a beer. I see Daniel telling her he won't accept it. Then him telling her he'll take it but he still won't accept it. Then Zabiela, as he passes from one mixer to another, look up, shake his hand to say "i appreciate it but don't need it." How HOT is that!? |

The olleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ole ole oleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee oleeeeeeeeeeeeee oleeeeeeeeeeeeee song was ridiculous at the end, thanks to whoever started that one up in the crowd.
Also the transvestite was weird, the dragon unessecary, the crazy cracked out chick was... just... wow.
Also, Sundance has some huge shoes to fill now... Zabiela at a small club I think has the potential to outdo anything that goes down at Beach Club. |
