Thank you, mr2gti!
And thank all of you for not confronting me with any "what's keeping you" posts, it is HIGHLY APPRECIATED.
Well, I did the best I could, the tone matching's not stellar but I think it works (I just hope that's not because I listened to it too many times, because the brain tends to makes sound good after a while). I'm expecting criticism on flow issues aswell, only thing I can say about that is that, imo, flow spans beyond the previous track. I hope I didn't disappoint stevieboy32808, as I think he tried to direct the mix to more upliftingness, but I went for a very banging tune.
The first part of the mix had undergone severe signal degradation, in fact the first track, as it stands now, could pass for 64kbps, so I hope that it can somehow be resolved.
Good luck to the upcoming DJs and thank you all. |

Not a problem matey, when things are tough, all you need to do is say and rules get relaxed mate.
As for track 1, the initial track 1 in the folder is the same, but before we submit the final mix, i'll see if I can paste in the highest quality versions of the earlier parts of the mix. |

Ya, I think we should be only doing .wav files to be honest. Might take longer to upload, but which this re-encoding every track added we will lose quality. |

It's a digital signal, so loss is minimal to be fair.
It's crap decoders and encoders/mix programs that kill it.
Thats why we are keeping the whole session/sections of the mix available for these things. |

try taking a short sample and re-encoding it at 320kbs yourself 20 times or so... there won't be much difference between the original & new version, it's not the re-encoding process that causes the quality degrade, more just the 3rd party factors with it like mr2gti mentioned |
