I use them both. No.
If it's fs1 then you are right about switching.
With serato all your itunes playlists appear automatically. Under the setup menu all you do is tick '' load itunes '' and all your playlists appear exacly how you have them in itunes within a second.
However I would never encode any audio using itunes.
I would just keep itunes for organization purposes.
If you have fs2 you would be better sticking to that and adding traktor 3 and a trigger finger ;)
