just a quick question to get your brains thinking this weekend....
why were only 5 shots of the plane (or whatever you want to call it) shown flying into the pentagon when there are obviously many cameras filming it with smooth crisp video?
and
i don't believe fire and heat could take the building down. there are very strict fire codes when a skyscraper is made that the beams and support columns can handle way more heat then imagine like shown in loose change. |

Loose change made one very glaring omission when it came to the fire; all the stuff inside the building itself.
The plane's fuel was just the catalyst for all the fuel that was already in the building (and by building's fuel I mean anything combustable) that brought the building down.
To add to that, steel and iron don't have to reach their melting points to become malleable and bend; especially when it's trying to hold the umpteen floors above it, with a raft of missing support beams taken out by the initial plane crash.
Loose Change is nothing but a money grab.
They have more advertising on their site than Nascar; the fact that they actually coming out with a movie just solidifies that arguement.
Yet people will pay money to believe this crap?
They fit right in with the "We didn't land on the moon" crowd. |

You left out that the massive steel columns act as a conduct spreading the heat into the cooler sections of itself. Take a look at the NIST report and check to see what their account of the maximum tempurature was in the impact zones, it's no where close to anything that would cause the steel to even bend. These buildings where built to take multiple hits from airliners.
Research as to what the firefighters mentioned they needed to put those so called "infernos" out, they only needed two hose lines because they were almost out. Jet fuel (kerosine) burns very quickly and what ever else caught on fire burned quickly as well. In the real world there are things called fire codes and raised steel structures must comply within these codes meaning that the contents (office furniture, PC equipment, etc) must burn off at certain tempuratures and in a certain amount of time. To deny both these strucutres did not follow these rules would be foolish as they where one of engineerings greatest feats of the last century.

A teenager who made a doumentary with his own pocket change has caught the attention of a lot of people. If he makes money for telling the truth then good for him. At least he donates to countless families of the victims and never comitted murder to his own people as governments have many done countless times in history.
They also just removed Loose Change 2nd edition from Google video since it has been in the the top 5 for a least a year. Big brother trying to hide something from us? |

Personally I wouldn't be surprised if most of the things in Loose Change are true - however - on the other (selfish) end I can see how such a plan was justified given our modern lifestyles and a thirst for oil that helps sustain it. Let's face it, manufacturing and life as we know it would change significantly were the price of oil to triple.
Not saying this to point fingers, but, I also believe in Peak Oil theory and the Iraq War being a necessary step to secure stronger reserves for a future time when things get ugly. Everything else is sugar coating to ignore the root of the problem - that there is no economical replacement for oil (energy wise that is - in terms of Net Energy Gain). |
