Thanks for the witty responses, unfortunately Im of such a feeble mind I cannot hope but to grasp your intended meanings.
I am primarly refering to Chinese music, however Japanese and even southern styles are close enough to work. Hence, I have refered to Asian music not a single country. |

i recommend jia peng fang for some good erhu music. Wang Lien has some pretty decent gu-zheng stuff.
Kiyoshi yoshida, has some good kodo drumming stuff. |

Now I wouldn't be so sure about it. Was checking on Wikipedia and it says the Chinese culture goes back around 6000 years whereas the early settlements in India go back around 9000 years with the known Indus Valley civilization coming to age around 3300 BC. That would be 5300 years ago :eyes: |

| While most classical Chinese isn't really driving enough, at least in my opinion to serve as good music for movies, there are some pieces that are incredibly so. If you can find it, listen to Wu Man- Night Rider. Incredible. Lira, thank you for the links. |
