Very disapointed in the "remodel", I don't know who it was that came on here saying the club was redone, but the club looks EXACTLY the same, other than a couple of couches and curtains here and there, there is zero change....same crappy dj booth and wank sound system its too bad really
As for Oakenfold he Destroyed to the club last night, I have never seen that place so packed, hundreds of hands in the air every five minuntes, great to see a sac venue go off like that...BUT unfortunatly his track selection was pretty lame and he still blows ass at mixing, other than one or two transitions it was trainwreck city...maybe if he spent more time mixing than signing autographs he would be decent....I just don't get how someone that has been spining for 20+ years is so poor at mixing?being lazy or to much coke?
overall good night, would be great to see barcode go off like that every friday night, hopefully they can book some big, but much better dj's in the future..... |

| Damn very cool, his performance in long beach is almost identical to what you are describing. Maybe more talent is on its way to Sactown :) |

i was there last night too, and i have to say for my first time seeing oakey i was pretty impressed. i actually enjoyed his song selection, but his mixing was pretty bad. oh man, what made my night was when he played "southern sun". my friend and i went totally nuts, so did the club.the only down part of the whole night was when some dumb ass en bitch stole my signed poster that i was getting for my brother. i even told her it was mine, and she had the en nerve to say it wasn't. no worries, i went and got another poster signed by the end of the night.
i really hope they can bring in more good djs, cause driving to LA or SF gets pretty costly after a while. |

well sac is just short for sacramento. but if you still don't know where that is, you remember where fresno is? it's about a two and a half to three hour drive north from fresno. hope that gives you an idea. |
