whoops - I meant 3 and 4 -- not 5. Although who can stand that damn Allure song No More Tears. Prolly the WORST song ever produced.

when u say OFF do you mean the mixing or the track selection...cus if you look at the tracklist for Magik 5 and say thats a bad tracklist then i would LOVE to know what u do like....especially considering the tracklist for Magik 7 was garbage compared to Magik 5...but i think you are tlaking about the mixing....i hope LOL

I haven't hear magik 2 or 4, but I though the other ones were quite good, if not a little dated. He's made seven albums in the series so a few of them are bound be the better album, but I've felt that his track selection has always been pretty good.

Mixing and song placement, the tracklist are good I thought he just stuck the songs anywhere, there doesn't seem to be a flow.

I like 1-5. A bit cheesy yes, but that doesn't have to always be a bad thing.

seems to me that Magik 1-5 are kinda old style Tiesto (more "lite trance" and a tad cheezy), whereas 6 and 7 are more progressive current style Tiesto, which I prefer. I've never noticed that the mixing is off on any of them though.

My favourite Magik was 1. I don't know.. I just like that kind of Trance! "It's a new dawn, it's a new day" (repeats once)... "It's a new life for me!" "And I'm feeling good!" Those vocals we're my favourite part of that CD! What track was that? I forget! I think it was 14... I LOVE that whole CD more than any other Magik in the series! Number 1 on Magik 1 was one of my favourites! Where can I get more Trance like what was on Magik 1? Anyway, I loved Magik 1 - 5 more than 6 and 7 because that's my style of Trance! The Push - Strange World was shortened on Magik 6 or 7 (whichever one it was on)! Why was this? It should've been played in full! I loved the entire part that he took out! Was their any time limit for this set??? There was enough space on teh CD to make it fit. Total time for that set would been around 79:5X, which isn't 80 minutes... Anyway, 6 and 7 are great, though. But, in my opinion, I liked 1 - 5 a bit better...

No, definitely not 5. I was generalizing since we were talking about the first 5.

Magik 2 (Story of The Fall) gets a little cheesy about halfway through, but that adds to it I think. I like the mix.

Magik 3 (Far From Earth) also has a lot of cheey moments, but I think cheese can be very enjoyable when it is done right. And Tiesto did it right.
