You know you are a terrible person for saying we should all die.
It is not my fault Bush was elected. I am only 17. Everyone I know didn't vote for Bush and I told everyone not to. My friends and I cried when Bush was reelected and we were pissed when he was elected in the first place. Everyone in my school wore black the next day after he was "elected in 2004" to show our disgust.

Secondly I am a human rights activist and I am on the side of innocent people. I just went to a youth human rights conference and met 50 teenagers who are doing great things for the world. In fact they are the world's only hopes.

Thirdly I went to protest the bombing of Lebanon and Palestine two days ago in downtown LA and there were hundreds of people there protesting against the bombing of Lebanon while there were only a dozen supporters across the street of what Israel is doing. If you take a look on the internet and blogs you will see that the majority of the world and the majority of Americans think that Israel is out of line. Because everyone sees that 300 innocent civillans dead 1000 people injured and 500,000 (1/2 a million) refugees/displaced people is not justified because of 2 kidnapped soldiers.

PS it is an incredibally stupid move because Lebanon is the most democratic pro-Western country in the region and Israel basically destroyed Beirut and devasted lebanon.

So mister you are out of line stop your stupid generalizations of all americans. People like me might be the only chance of getting the Bushie types out of the gov't and the world a little more in sync.

the rest of the world isn't as sheltered about u.s. foreign policy as we are. everyone over there knows where israeli ordinance, israeli tanks, jets and helicopters come from. everyone knows how much money we give them in aid every year, and how deeply embedded aipac is in our political system. in fact, around the world, most people see america as israel's lapdog. and i would call that a fair characterization. with the whole issue made out of iran in this conflict, few people realize that the united states is seen as the iran to lebanon's hezbollah... iran supplies hezbollah with rockets, united states supplies israel with missiles. both are being used to kill civilians. except who is going to be sympathized for and who is going to be demonized in the end? yesterday i saw an american flag being burned alongside an israeli flag by lebanese refugees in syria. it might not make any sense to you or i, but israel is damaging our middle east relations just as much as they are their own. it doesn't matter that the majority of americans think israel is going too far, when the official stance of the united states is that israel isn't doing anything wrong and we have no objection to their actions, that's all that resonates with the arab world.

Every bomb Israel drops on Lebanon makes 25 more terrorists.

no one can even follow the logic behind israel's air strike/shelling campaign... there's a reason why hezbollah is the only militia in lebanon which hasn't disarmed after the civil war. short of invading and occupying lebanon, there's no way you're gonna erradicate them from the country by levelling lebanese towns with missile strikes. and what we are seeing now is lebanese moderates who in the past just wanted peace, now becoming hezbollah sympathizers. in lebanon the group is a political minority, holding something like 20% of the seats in government. does israel think what they are doing is gonna make hezbollah any less popular with the people? over a million displaced refugees, many who used up all the money they have just to pick up and escape the violence, now living broke, hungry and homeless in syria with no idea what tomorrow will bring. yeah i would depise israel too if that was my situation. but there are also a lot of lebanese people who are stranded in their towns and can't escape because israeli jets blew up all the roads and bridges leading out of the town, so now they are sitting in their homes running out of food to sound of explosions in their backyard. you have to wonder, what's israel's end game here????
