So you have 3 digital audio workstations and no manual? Sounds like you need to stop pirating loads of software and like, learn how to use one of them.
Like. By reading the manual? |

In ableton there is a button called arm track, down the bottom of the midi channel or audio channel, depending what u r using.
You need to press the button so its red, that determines what your keyboard controls.
In reason you need to click the area to the right of whatever module you want to control, i think a keyboard icon apears to show which synth u r controling. |

i am using ableton 4 it doesn't have that button on mine. also ableton come with my keyboard so i think it is just a demo program, not the full version. |

There must be some sort of arming button, otherwise if you had 5 different vst's loaded, when u hit a key all 5 would play at once.
How about reason, did u try what i mentioned. |

Its ableton live lite 4. Im pretty sure you can upgrade it to 5. Read the manuals on the cds. I would have suggested learning how to use sequencers alot more before buying a keyboard.
I have ableton live and cubase and soundforge. All light versions though. Light version are a hassle, they are just promotional poop to get more sales when you upgrade.
Alsomost forgot:
Make sure you turn the keyboard on before you open Ableton.
In ableton in the options go to the midi settings and make sure the in from the axiom is on. Make sure its the in from the keyboard itself and not the keyboards input. |

in cubase you elect your vst as the input and your usb port (your keyboard) as your output. if its properly installed cubase always reads it.
for reason go to preferences and select keyboard or midi device i think it is from the drop down it will search your harddrive for the keyboard when its found or you select it manually save it as your primary keyboard. |
