Hey, when i use a spectral analyser on my tracks in wav format they look ok, but when I convert to mp3 some deficiencies appear. Does anyone know why?
Thanks in advance. |

could be because the mp3 format discards several frequencies deemed unimportant..
spectral freqs tend to be in the upper ranges; exactly where mp3 does most of its work. |

hey thanks for that Optik!
I generally use Spectroman as my spectral analyser. Is it sufficient or should I get WAVES? |

Yeah, that's funny stuff. Since Elemental Audio got taken over
by this Roger Nichols dude, the interface got a cheesy make-over,
the names got even cheesier. But that's not important, the most important thing is that the prices have quadrupled
while the plug-ins are still the same.
