Deaf Tax? on a phone bill?

So I actually looked at my phone bill that was on my desk and I look at teh taxes and surcharges...
Nevada State Deaf Tax Surcharge ....... $0.03
3 cents...3 lil cents for the deaf people cause I am using my phone.
anyone else non-voluntarily donate to deaf people? |

| Deaf tax covers the costs of people who use type in phone services (IE, a deaf person instant messengers what they want to say to a phone operator, and then the phone operator calls that person and says it, then types back the response). it's considered a public health sort of thing. |
