ok, theres a lot of posts of "whats your favorite track or whats your worst track".. but that is personal opinion really...
i'm going to word that question to:

"what track, trance, house, techno or whatever, do you think would be considered as one with the most advanced/best/quality production skills."

in terms of technicality, song elements, instruments, fx, etc..

and yes i do consider this as being a different question to "what is your fav track"..

to me.. best production candidates would go to

Way Out West - Ajare (Brothers in Rhythm mix)
Sunscreem - Perfect Motion (Sunday Club DMC Mix)
Futureshock - THe Question (Drum Heavy Mix)
Perpetuous Dreamer - Sound of Goodbye (Avb Mix)

there =p
eXos
That will be then:

Moontribe - Dance Of The 7th Hill (DJ Tiesto RMX)

Just great

last night this track took me too another level not saying its my favourite track but i think its very intelligent the way it changes at approx 1.08 mins.. instead of takin u up it takes u side ways then it slowly builds up too the orgasm bit so too speak lol...then it winds down and you think its about too fade then it takes u up for one last surprise... that track wud be ...

'moonman - galaxia 2001 (darbucca morninglight mix)'

respect2all laterz;)

Is that moonman - galaxia 2001 (darbucca morninglight mix)a lot like the "solar stone remix" cause i cant find the mix you are talking about ... :( and you made it sound sooo sweet...

And im not gonna give you a great technical song.. cause id probably say a song i like right now.. which aint technical at all and ill probably screw up your good topic :D
mucka
i have both mixes and the difference is outstanding if u want the mix try www.trancedome.com enjoy:)

p.s be patient the e-trance traxx link can be tempermental at times!

hey i like the idea behind this thread too.but i hope it doesnt go the way of other "whats ur fav..." threads with people generally posting song names without any reasons....

I would rate any Remix by Lange as an amazing production.I have heard Atlantis - Fiji lot of times but the Lange Mix is one level.
-->Atlantis Vs. Avatar Feat. Miri - Fiji (Lange Remix)

I got the same feeling listening to :
-->Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Katcha Mix)

There is one more song that froze my spine recently - its by a mp3.com artist !! You will not believe what you hear...trust me on this one and download it guys and pls tell me what u think....
-->DoubleN - Get over it

Nice topic. There's this track by L-X-Carbo called "The dance of the crazy pill"(blue pill mix) that basically consists of two alternating tones, but the production makes it so much more than the sum of its components. Whenever I hear it, I feel like I'm being pushed around the dancefloor by a giant broom. Wicked!

hehe.. pushed around the dancefloor with a broom? lol.. thats pretty interesting..

i kinda made this, coz when ppl vote for their favorite songs.. they usually do it on the basis of "just because" hehe.. so yea..
i never really thought of a technically good song before till today =p
Morbius
I'd say I have to give my vote for Sphongle - Behind Closed Eyelids. It's not exactly trance... I'd say its a cross between tribal house, psychadelic techno and ambient :)

It's an amazing song though... it takes you through a 10 minute journey of a myriad of different sounds... I recommend listening to it very loud on a set of headphones, there are some messed phase effects in that song.
