Why do people like tall people?(society question)

As some of you might know the majority of fortune 500 companies are over 6' CEOs. In fact over 90% of the ceo's are over 6'. And people who are over 6' get paid an average of 600$ more than someone who isn't 6' or more.
Also most girls dream guy is over 6' and girls just love it when the guy is over 6' so why do people like tall guys? I mean do they have something shorter males don't have? I think its kind of unfair to see the majority of ceo's in their position to be there only because they are tall.
So, what are your views as to why society tend to "worship" tall males? |

i am too different on too many things to be able to attribute any special treatment from society to my height in particular. |

| A correlation has also been found between looks and job position/income/preferential treatment. It's in my psych book so i cant post a link to any sources, maybe ill look for some later. They dont really elaborate as to why, they just indicate that there is a correlation. |
