Costinha played less than 10 minutes before he got red carded. Torres missed open goals, and Kezman had one good chance to score but the goalkeeper saved the shot very nicely. Torres could've scored two, and should've scored 2 goals, first when he missed a open goal, and then later on when he shot at the goalkeeper, from close range.
Man of the match: Martin Petrov.

What a goal by Aguero, I'm really excited by his signing for Athleti, he's a superb prospect. The club has made some astute purchases this summer, I'm hoping for big things in the league :) |

This is his strength, when he comes 1-on-1 he almost always scores a goa l. I'm very satisfied with this signing, He's now played 3 games and scored in 2 of them. 2 of Atléticos 3 goals in the pre-season so far.
The team is going to China for the tour there now. |

The team has started their pre-season training in China and will be meeting two teams on their tour over there.
Ze Roberto came up the other day, and Gil Marín said nothing special about him. Maniche looks more and more like he's coming to Atlético even though the price is ed up for him, 12 million €.
A couple of players has left the squad for this season, and Mario Suarez who won the U19 EC in Poland was included in the China squad, which forced Braulio and Toché home to Madrid to continue with the B-squad.
Good news, I think this guy can be something special if he gets the chance by Aguirre, which I also believe he will be given, hopefully directly to prove himself before the seasons starts.
Future prospect for sure. |
